Trento is drawn as a cactus. At 165 cm on a 50 × 40 cm base it does everything a tower of that size does, but the silhouette is a plant — which is the difference between a cat tree you tolerate in the living room and one you would put there on purpose.
50 × 40 cm and 50 × 30 cm — the width of the tower itself, rather than a narrow box squeezed between posts. A cat can lie stretched out inside and turn round without reversing.
The basket sits high, around 30 cm across, with platforms of 35 × 35 cm and 30 × 30 cm. Between the caves below and the perches above, a cat has both the covered and the exposed option at several heights.
Sisal on the posts, spread across the frame so scratching happens on the way up. The rope offers a different action — gripping and hauling rather than leaning — and cats that ignore posts often take to it. Pom-poms hang from the frame.
