Terracina is a soft-sided carrier in nylon: mesh panels on the front and sides, a zip along the opening, and two handles. There is no frame to dismantle — it folds flat when you are not using it.
A carrier is a stressful place for a cat, and most of that stress is not being able to see out. Panels on the front and both sides mean the cat keeps a view in whatever direction the bag is set down, and the air moves through rather than sitting still — which matters in a car or a waiting room more than anywhere.
A rigid carrier is used four times a year and stored for the other three hundred and sixty days. This one collapses flat, which is the difference between a carrier that lives in a cupboard and one that lives at the back of a wardrobe and is never fetched in time.
There is a weight limit per size: under 3 kg for the 43 cm, under 5 kg for the 47 cm, under 7 kg for the 53 cm. Measure your cat rather than guess — a carrier a cat cannot turn around in is one it will fight on the way in.
