Description

Corniglia is a low unit — 75 cm — built around two enclosed cat houses rather than a climb. Each interior measures 39.5 × 39.5 cm with 31.5 cm of headroom, which is a genuinely large space: a big cat can stand up and turn round inside instead of reversing out the way it came.

Size is the whole point

Most towers fit a condo into whatever space is left between platforms, and the result is a box a cat has to fold itself into. Here the houses set the dimensions and everything else works around them. Doors measure 26 × 17 cm, and a 12 cm round observation hole lets a cat inside watch the room without coming out.

A bed on the roof

The top bed shares the 39.5 × 39.5 cm footprint and has a 5 cm rim around it — enough to feel enclosed at the edges without blocking the view. A smaller platform of 18.5 × 18 cm sits at the second level as a step.

The post has its own base

The scratching post stands on a separate 18.5 × 15.5 cm plate rather than being bolted through a platform, with a post diameter of 3.6 cm. That keeps the scratching away from the sleeping areas — cats generally prefer it that way.

What to check

The limit is 10 kg for the whole structure. On a unit designed around two houses, that total is worth reading as one cat per house rather than a household piling on.

Setting it up

Around 35 minutes. Particle board under a covering of carpet fabric, plush and faux fur, so expect a mixed-texture finish rather than one uniform surface.

What a cat does with it

Climb it. Look down from somewhere high. Scratch something that doesn't matter. Then fall asleep on it. A tree earns its floor space by covering all four — which is why the height, the platforms and the posts decide far more than the colour does.

Where it will stand

75 cm on a 57 × 41 cm base

That is the floor it needs. Measure your own before you order rather than after it arrives. A tree is a lookout first and furniture second, so it earns its place in the room where the household spends its evenings, not in a spare one.

Measured, then published

No size brackets, no “XXL” standing in for a figure: the cat tree with its dimensions drawn on it, so you can check it against your room instead of trusting a photograph.

Why choose Cat Palace

Because your cat deserves better than a generic tower — and so does your living room.

Designed around how cats behave

Height to climb, somewhere to scratch, a lookout over the room — every piece answers a real feline habit rather than a decorating trend.

Facts before adjectives

Height and footprint in centimetres, the weight limit in kilos where it is known — never “sturdy” or “spacious” in their place.

Frequently asked questions

Is it stable enough for a big cat?

Stability comes from the base, not from the height. Compare the base dimensions with the overall height in the specifications: a wide base under a tall frame is what stops a tower rocking when a cat lands on the top platform from the side. Where an anti-tip strap is included it is listed under Care & assembly, and above about a metre and a half we would fit it even when the base feels solid on its own.

Where should I put it?

Near a window, against a wall, in the room where people actually sit. Cats climb in order to watch, so a tower facing a blank corner gets ignored while the same tower by a window is used every day. Keep it away from the litter tray and the food bowls — cats separate those places from where they sleep.

My cat ignores it and keeps scratching the sofa. What now?

Move it next to the thing being scratched rather than to a tidy corner. Cats scratch along the routes they already use, not where we would prefer them to. Rub the posts with catnip for the first week and put a blanket that smells of the household on the lowest platform. Most refusals turn out to be a placement problem rather than a product one.

Will my cat actually use it?

Cats accept new things on their own timetable. Put it where your cat already chooses to be — the sunny corner, the room the household uses most — and leave it alone for a few days rather than presenting it. A little catnip helps on anything meant to be slept on or scratched. Anything worn or handled should be left out to be sniffed and walked away from several times before you use it.

What if it does not suit my cat?

You have 30 days from delivery to send it back. Returns are free and the refund goes to the payment method you used. You do not need to give a reason.
