Marostica is 149 cm tall on a 45 × 40 cm base — narrow for its height, and it spends that footprint on one large cave rather than on several small features.
45 × 40 cm of enclosed floor. A cat can lie stretched out inside, turn round, or share it with another; a typical condo at this size forces an animal to curl up and reverse out. If your cat is a hider rather than a watcher, this is the shape that suits it.
A single 45 × 30 cm platform at the top, wide enough to lie across properly. Below it, a hanging basket of around 30 cm and a lower hammock of about 40 × 25 cm — two slung surfaces at different heights for a cat that wants to be held rather than perched.
The posts run between the levels, and the climbing rope offers a different action — gripping and hauling rather than leaning and pulling. Cats that ignore posts often take to a rope.
The per-cat figure is the one to check against your animal. The tower suits four large cats at once, which sits awkwardly with a 35 kg total unless the weight is spread across levels — treat it as a tower for two or three cats rather than four.

Stability comes from the base, not from the height. Compare the base dimensions with the overall height in the specifications: a wide base under a tall frame is what stops a tower rocking when a cat lands on the top platform from the side. Where an anti-tip strap is included it is listed under Care & assembly, and above about a metre and a half we would fit it even when the base feels solid on its own.
Near a window, against a wall, in the room where people actually sit. Cats climb in order to watch, so a tower facing a blank corner gets ignored while the same tower by a window is used every day. Keep it away from the litter tray and the food bowls — cats separate those places from where they sleep.
Move it next to the thing being scratched rather than to a tidy corner. Cats scratch along the routes they already use, not where we would prefer them to. Rub the posts with catnip for the first week and put a blanket that smells of the household on the lowest platform. Most refusals turn out to be a placement problem rather than a product one.
Cats accept new things on their own timetable. Put it where your cat already chooses to be — the sunny corner, the room the household uses most — and leave it alone for a few days rather than presenting it. A little catnip helps on anything meant to be slept on or scratched. Anything worn or handled should be left out to be sniffed and walked away from several times before you use it.
