Cat Tree

Cat Tree Alba

120 cm on a 57 × 48 cm plywood base, with anti-slip pads under the feet. Four levels: a round 35 cm perch at the top, two jumping platforms and a hammock slung underneath them.

Every soft surface comes off — perch mat, hammock and both platform mats — so the parts a cat actually sleeps on can be washed. Two sisal-covered columns run the height of the frame. Each tier is rated to 10 kg.

Description

Alba stands 120 cm on a solid plywood base of 57 × 48 cm, with anti-slip pads under the feet. Four levels sit above that base, close enough together that a cat climbs in short steps rather than one long jump.

Every soft part lifts out

This is the reason to choose Alba over a comparable tower. The top-perch mat, the hammock and both jumping-platform mats are removable and washable — which means the surfaces that collect hair, dander and the smell of a sleeping cat can actually be cleaned, rather than spot-treated forever. Start gentle and cold. The plywood itself wipes down.

Four places to settle, three shapes

The top perch is round, 35 cm across, with a raised bolster edge that stops a sleeping cat rolling off. Below it, two flat platforms of roughly 28 × 24 cm each sit at the same height, so two cats can share the level without touching. Lower down, a round hammock of about 30 cm gives the slung, enclosed feeling that a flat platform cannot. Each tier carries a stated limit of 10 kg.

Two full-height sisal columns

The support columns are wrapped in sisal along their visible length, not just at the base, so a cat can stretch to full height against them on the way up.

Build and safety

Solid plywood throughout, 12.5 kg assembled, with rounded panel corners and anti-slip foot pads. The pads matter on a hard floor: they are what stop a 120 cm frame sliding when a cat launches off the top perch.

Cat Tree Alba — shown at home with cats

What a cat does with it

Climb it. Look down from somewhere high. Scratch something that doesn't matter. Then fall asleep on it. A tree earns its floor space by covering all four — which is why the height, the platforms and the posts decide far more than the colour does.

Where it will stand

120 cm on a 57 × 48 cm base

That is the floor it needs. Measure your own before you order rather than after it arrives. A tree is a lookout first and furniture second, so it earns its place in the room where the household spends its evenings, not in a spare one.

Measured, then published

No size brackets, no “XXL” standing in for a figure: the cat tree with its dimensions drawn on it, so you can check it against your room instead of trusting a photograph.

Why choose Cat Palace

Because your cat deserves better than a generic tower — and so does your living room.

Designed around how cats behave

Height to climb, somewhere to scratch, a lookout over the room — every piece answers a real feline habit rather than a decorating trend.

Facts before adjectives

Height and footprint in centimetres, the weight limit in kilos where it is known — never “sturdy” or “spacious” in their place.

Frequently asked questions

Is it stable enough for a big cat?

Stability comes from the base, not from the height. Compare the base dimensions with the overall height in the specifications: a wide base under a tall frame is what stops a tower rocking when a cat lands on the top platform from the side. Where an anti-tip strap is included it is listed under Care & assembly, and above about a metre and a half we would fit it even when the base feels solid on its own.

Where should I put it?

Near a window, against a wall, in the room where people actually sit. Cats climb in order to watch, so a tower facing a blank corner gets ignored while the same tower by a window is used every day. Keep it away from the litter tray and the food bowls — cats separate those places from where they sleep.

My cat ignores it and keeps scratching the sofa. What now?

Move it next to the thing being scratched rather than to a tidy corner. Cats scratch along the routes they already use, not where we would prefer them to. Rub the posts with catnip for the first week and put a blanket that smells of the household on the lowest platform. Most refusals turn out to be a placement problem rather than a product one.

Will my cat actually use it?

Cats accept new things on their own timetable. Put it where your cat already chooses to be — the sunny corner, the room the household uses most — and leave it alone for a few days rather than presenting it. A little catnip helps on anything meant to be slept on or scratched. Anything worn or handled should be left out to be sniffed and walked away from several times before you use it.

What if it does not suit my cat?

You have 30 days from delivery to send it back. Returns are free and the refund goes to the payment method you used. You do not need to give a reason.
