Description

Urbania puts six platforms across six levels on a square 48 × 48 cm base, reaching 140 cm. That is a lot of usable surface for a quarter of a square metre of floor.

Six levels means short steps

Over 140 cm, six levels sit roughly 23 cm apart — a step rather than a jump. It keeps the whole tower in use: a kitten can climb it, and an older cat can still get down from the top without dropping.

An ear-shaped perch on top

30 cm across with a 10 cm rim, so a sleeping cat has something to lean into rather than an open edge. A round perch of about 30 cm sits below it, and the upper cave roof gives another 45 × 30 cm of standing room.

Two caves and a basket

The upper cave entrance measures 17 × 21 cm. A basket-style hammock of around 30 cm hangs alongside, and a 18 × 32 cm ladder handles one of the transitions.

Posts 6.2 cm across

Three of them, thick enough that they do not flex when a cat pulls back against them with its weight. Two balls hang from the frame.

A box you can carry

It ships at 49.5 × 49.5 × 20.5 cm and 12.79 kg — barely 20 cm deep. If you live up a narrow staircase or have a small lift, that shape matters more than the weight.

Setting it up

Flat-packed, with an anti-tip kit supplied, on a reinforced 48 × 48 cm base.

Cat Tree Urbania — shown at home with cats

What a cat does with it

Climb it. Look down from somewhere high. Scratch something that doesn't matter. Then fall asleep on it. A tree earns its floor space by covering all four — which is why the height, the platforms and the posts decide far more than the colour does.

Where it will stand

140 cm on a 48 × 48 cm base

That is the floor it needs. Measure your own before you order rather than after it arrives. A tree is a lookout first and furniture second, so it earns its place in the room where the household spends its evenings, not in a spare one.

Measured, then published

No size brackets, no “XXL” standing in for a figure: the cat tree with its dimensions drawn on it, so you can check it against your room instead of trusting a photograph.

Why choose Cat Palace

Because your cat deserves better than a generic tower — and so does your living room.

Designed around how cats behave

Height to climb, somewhere to scratch, a lookout over the room — every piece answers a real feline habit rather than a decorating trend.

Facts before adjectives

Height and footprint in centimetres, the weight limit in kilos where it is known — never “sturdy” or “spacious” in their place.

Frequently asked questions

Is it stable enough for a big cat?

Stability comes from the base, not from the height. Compare the base dimensions with the overall height in the specifications: a wide base under a tall frame is what stops a tower rocking when a cat lands on the top platform from the side. Where an anti-tip strap is included it is listed under Care & assembly, and above about a metre and a half we would fit it even when the base feels solid on its own.

Where should I put it?

Near a window, against a wall, in the room where people actually sit. Cats climb in order to watch, so a tower facing a blank corner gets ignored while the same tower by a window is used every day. Keep it away from the litter tray and the food bowls — cats separate those places from where they sleep.

My cat ignores it and keeps scratching the sofa. What now?

Move it next to the thing being scratched rather than to a tidy corner. Cats scratch along the routes they already use, not where we would prefer them to. Rub the posts with catnip for the first week and put a blanket that smells of the household on the lowest platform. Most refusals turn out to be a placement problem rather than a product one.

Will my cat actually use it?

Cats accept new things on their own timetable. Put it where your cat already chooses to be — the sunny corner, the room the household uses most — and leave it alone for a few days rather than presenting it. A little catnip helps on anything meant to be slept on or scratched. Anything worn or handled should be left out to be sniffed and walked away from several times before you use it.

What if it does not suit my cat?

You have 30 days from delivery to send it back. Returns are free and the refund goes to the payment method you used. You do not need to give a reason.
