XXL Cat Tree Gargnano

Thirteen scratching posts on one 168 cm tower — more than any other model here — with the levels set 25 to 30 cm apart so a cat steps between them rather than jumping.

Two condos, a hammock, a basket, two platforms and a scratching ramp that works as a ladder. Rated to 65 kg overall and 5 kg per cat. A spare pompom is included, and wall anchoring is required.

Description

Gargnano carries thirteen scratching posts across 168 cm of height. That is roughly double what a well-equipped tower offers, and it changes what the tower is for: scratching is not one station at the bottom, it is the surface of the whole structure.

Twenty-five to thirty centimetres between levels

The gap between levels is the most useful number here, and few towers give it. At 25–30 cm a cat steps up rather than jumps — which means a kitten can climb it, an older cat can still use the top, and coming down is not a drop. Five levels, spaced that way, over 168 cm.

Four ways to settle

Two enclosed condos, a hammock, a basket and two open platforms. The scratching ramp doubles as the ladder between sections.

Sixty-five kilos, five per cat

A high total static load on a reinforced base with bottom battens, and 18.4 kg of frame. The per-cat figure of 5 kg is the one to check against your own animal — Gargnano is built for several smaller cats rather than one large one.

A spare pompom in the box

Two pompoms and a play rope come fitted, with one spare pompom in the box — a small sign that they are expected to be destroyed. Remove the pompoms and elastic bands if your cat chews and swallows them, and repair or replace a damaged cave before the tower is used again.

Fix it to the wall

Anchoring is required rather than recommended, and the kit is supplied. At 168 cm, follow that.

What a cat does with it

Climb it. Look down from somewhere high. Scratch something that doesn't matter. Then fall asleep on it. A tree earns its floor space by covering all four — which is why the height, the platforms and the posts decide far more than the colour does.

Where it will stand

168 cm

That is the floor it needs. Measure your own before you order rather than after it arrives. A tree is a lookout first and furniture second, so it earns its place in the room where the household spends its evenings, not in a spare one.

Measured, then published

No size brackets, no “XXL” standing in for a figure: the cat tree with its dimensions drawn on it, so you can check it against your room instead of trusting a photograph.

Why choose Cat Palace

Because your cat deserves better than a generic tower — and so does your living room.

Designed around how cats behave

Height to climb, somewhere to scratch, a lookout over the room — every piece answers a real feline habit rather than a decorating trend.

Facts before adjectives

Height and footprint in centimetres, the weight limit in kilos where it is known — never “sturdy” or “spacious” in their place.

Frequently asked questions

Is it stable enough for a big cat?

Stability comes from the base, not from the height. Compare the base dimensions with the overall height in the specifications: a wide base under a tall frame is what stops a tower rocking when a cat lands on the top platform from the side. Where an anti-tip strap is included it is listed under Care & assembly, and above about a metre and a half we would fit it even when the base feels solid on its own.

Where should I put it?

Near a window, against a wall, in the room where people actually sit. Cats climb in order to watch, so a tower facing a blank corner gets ignored while the same tower by a window is used every day. Keep it away from the litter tray and the food bowls — cats separate those places from where they sleep.

My cat ignores it and keeps scratching the sofa. What now?

Move it next to the thing being scratched rather than to a tidy corner. Cats scratch along the routes they already use, not where we would prefer them to. Rub the posts with catnip for the first week and put a blanket that smells of the household on the lowest platform. Most refusals turn out to be a placement problem rather than a product one.

Will my cat actually use it?

Cats accept new things on their own timetable. Put it where your cat already chooses to be — the sunny corner, the room the household uses most — and leave it alone for a few days rather than presenting it. A little catnip helps on anything meant to be slept on or scratched. Anything worn or handled should be left out to be sniffed and walked away from several times before you use it.

What if it does not suit my cat?

You have 30 days from delivery to send it back. Returns are free and the refund goes to the payment method you used. You do not need to give a reason.
