Description

Loreto is a grooming glove. You wear it and stroke the cat; loose hair lifts onto the surface instead of onto your furniture.

For cats that refuse a brush

This is the whole argument. A comb or a slicker is an object being applied to the animal, and a lot of cats leave the room when they see one. A hand is not an object — the cat gets what feels like being stroked, and the hair comes off anyway. For a nervous cat, or one that has decided brushes are the enemy, it is often the only grooming that actually happens.

It works where a brush cannot

A gloved hand follows the shape of the animal: down the flanks, around the shoulders, under the chin. Rigid brushes skip over those curves.

Washable

When the surface fills with hair it goes in the wash rather than in the bin. Start cold and gentle.

Nothing to maintain

No batteries, no charging, no refills, no replacement heads. It lives in a drawer and works the day you pick it up.

Cat Grooming Glove Loreto — shown at home with cats

Less hair on the sofa, less in the cat

A few minutes of grooming collects the loose coat before it ends up on your clothes and furniture — or swallowed while your cat washes itself.

When to do it

On your lap or on a towel in a spot the cat already likes, at a quiet moment — after a meal rather than before one. Work with the lie of the coat, never against it.

Why choose Cat Palace

Because your cat deserves better than the first listing that comes up — and so does your home.

Designed around how cats behave

Loose coat collected before it spreads through the house or is swallowed during washing — in sessions short enough for a cat to accept.

Frequently asked questions

My cat hates being brushed.

Brush for thirty seconds and stop while it is still going well — ending before the cat objects is what builds tolerance. Start at the cheeks and along the spine, which most cats accept, and leave the belly and the back legs until much later. A cat that has never been groomed will not sit through ten minutes on the first day.

How often should I groom?

Once a week for a short-haired cat, daily for a long-haired one. Long coats mat close to the skin where you cannot see it, and a mat that has already formed has to be cut out rather than combed — which is a vet job more often than people expect.

Does grooming really reduce hairballs?

It reduces how much loose hair a cat swallows while washing itself, which is where hairballs come from. It is not a treatment. A cat bringing up hairballs frequently, or retching without producing anything, needs a vet rather than a brush.

Will my cat actually use it?

Cats accept new things on their own timetable. Put it where your cat already chooses to be — the sunny corner, the room the household uses most — and leave it alone for a few days rather than presenting it. A little catnip helps on anything meant to be slept on or scratched. Anything worn or handled should be left out to be sniffed and walked away from several times before you use it.

What if it does not suit my cat?

You have 30 days from delivery to send it back. Returns are free and the refund goes to the payment method you used. You do not need to give a reason.
